TaskSmart

Carlo Kok from RemObjects suggested a book to me “Getting things done” a while back (I’d recommend it too) – since then I have been using Get On Tracks, which is a web based app based on the suggestions in the book.  It’s a pretty good app but I find it is very slow, painfully slow.  So, due to the relentless part of my personality which compels me to constantly learn new things I have started an open source project on sourceforge.net – TaskSmart.  This will be a web app I can use as a replacement for Get On Tracks,...

What colour is The Moon?

Well, if you are apparently ignorant like myself you would say “White” or maybe “Shades of Grey”.  This US Government website has a kind of “Google Moon” app which uses photographs from the 1994 Clementine project – which was a satellite sent to The Moon to capture images of its surface. http://pdsmaps.wr.usgs.gov/PDS/public/explorer/html/moonpick.htm Choose the 2nd option “Natural color” and then click on an area of The Moon to zoom in.  There’s plenty of Brown there, and you can see quite a lot of Blue too. How to reduce bug reports for your application

I’ve found a reproducible bug on YouTube which stops you from commenting.  I went to their support pages and the bug wasn’t listed, so I followed this link: and here is the page it links to (tested in IE and Chrome) I’ll bet the last release of the YouTube site saw a dramatic fall in reported bugs.  Well done YouTube, you must have released a really good quality build!
